Ecoasis Resort has six beautiful Chalets nestled in the pristine and ancient world of Northern New South Wales hinterland, on 45 hectares of sub-tropical rainforest where native flora and fauna abound, and an abundance of bush, rainforest and wildlife is at your front door.

Usually located on rainforest or bush blocks, Eco Lodges and Nature Retreats may be accredited under NEAP*, or they choose to adhere to the general Code of Practice for Ecotourism Operators, with environmentally friendly accomodation, facilities and measures in place.

These often include: recycling program, energy-efficient light globes, use of environmentally friendly cleaning products, and low-flow toilets (standard dual flush here in Australia) and low flow showerheads.

Many operators also participate in environmental conservation and rehabilitation programs, and/or educational or scientific monitoring programs.  Passive activities like bushwalking and bird watching will generally be available on site. Most hosts will also have a library of relevant books and local information.  Tariff is indicative only (per night/off peak).
